So, I saw a note in "Recent Changes" about attacks with the right kind of ships destroying buildings. I tried a few attacks, and here are some of the result messages:

Harvesting Pods was reduced from level: 13 to 0
Marketplace was reduced from level: 7 to 0
Embassy was reduced from level: 6 to 4
Xen Disco was reduced from level: 10 to 0
Nexus was reduced from level: 21 to 11
Synthesizer was reduced from level: 16 to 12
Starport was reduced from level: 6 to 0
Harvesting Pods was reduced from level: 1 to 0
Armory was reduced from level: 9 to 0
Mining Sites was reduced from level: 15 to 13

From my standpoint, if those messages are correct, waging war just became much more interesting

Yeah, how you're destroying in 2 hours what was built for months. Too easy i'd say. So here's the suggestion - slightly increase costs of destroyer ships and slightly decrease their firepower, destructive power and health.

I think I have to agree with you....I'm thrilled that the destroyers are doing their job, but I was only sending an average of 10-12 destroyers per raid...

I'm not sure I agree with decreasing their firepower, because that's helpful for "raid" attack/defense, but taking buildings down 13 levels at one hit may be a little excessive.

Well you see, the reason why i suggested decreasing of destructive power and firepower is because destroyers are supposed to be tactical units, so they should have small efficiency in normal combat.

How may and what type of ships did you launch? and were they max'd up through the armory? Just wondering so we can get some perspective on the damage inflicted.... but I agree destroying months of work in one go sounds a bit excessive.

An alternative to changing the damage inflicted would be simply to increase the HP of the constructed buildings.

Read more carefully please. He said he sent 10-12 destroyers per attack. And increasing hp or decreasing destruction power would be the same and won't affect firepower.

However, both firepower and (especially) destruction power should be greatly decreased.

That was my impression too after i first seen your post, that the buildings are destroyed to easy...
I change it so now you need 10 units (after the battle) to take down one level.

That sounds about right imo.
