Here it is again for you: Giving crystals is not automatic, it's controlled by the admins. The admins will judge when you have 10 "useful" posts, so you cannot predict exactly when that will happen. So yes, it is still entirely in the admins' hands how they want to hand out crystals, and no that still doesn't contradict anything TheGuardian said.

OK, let me clarify my statement:

I will give out personally 10 crystals to anyone who has over 10 posts of which most of them are useful. By useful I mean they are informative, they are great suggestions or observations, related to the game.

What this mean in nerdy's case is that I check all his posts and see if at least 10 are talking about real, game related, stuff that is useful to us, the developers. And now that I saw that he really contributed to the community, I can give him the reward he deserves.

But you have to ask for it first! I don't have the time to search the forum for good posters. Also, sometimes I don't login for 2-3 days, but stay assured, I'll be back. Rarely, I see some really good suggestion that must be rewarded. Also, moderators do the best they can and answer to the best of their knowledge. You did not offered me time to answer properly...
